It should be noted that in September, the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Digital Transformation recommended Bill No. 11431 for the first reading, which aimed to ensure the stable operation of mobile operators during power outages. The head of the subcommittee on the development of the digital industry, Serhiy Shtepa, explained that the bill provides for an increase in unscheduled inspections of communication operators and an increase in fines for violating the requirements of the National Commission regulating industry activities.
