Fines for dirty license plates and more: what threatens drivers on the roads.
The Kyiv police urge drivers to check the condition of their vehicle's license plates before each trip. Driving a vehicle without a license plate or with an incorrect license plate is a violation of traffic rules. The list of prohibitions includes such points: the license plate does not belong to this car, does not meet standards, is fixed in an inappropriate place, is turned upside down, is not illuminated, is covered by other objects, is permanently dirty so that the symbols cannot be distinguished from afar. The police urge adherence to these rules, as non-compliance results in a fine.
The level of the fine is 1190 hryvnias. The Kyiv police also urge drivers to be vigilant, comply with traffic rules, and monitor the condition of their vehicles to ensure their own safety.
The police also provide new rules for participating in a traffic accident where police involvement is not required. They have now explained when police do not need to be called.
