Strategic Goals of the Parties in the Russo-Ukrainian War.
Zelensky Presented the Resilience Plan
President Volodymyr Zelensky presented a new resilience plan in Ukraine. He stated that the war will not end soon and the political powers will not change. In this regard, he reiterated the thesis about the prohibition of holding elections during the war according to the Constitution and law.
However, this thesis is erroneous, as the Constitution does not prohibit holding presidential elections during the war. The President and his entourage do not fulfill their duties, and this becomes a problem for Ukraine.
The main goal of Ukraine in this war is to survive and outlast the enemy. However, a number of measures are proposed that should have been implemented by the president earlier: combating corruption, supporting entrepreneurship, reforms in the army, education, and healthcare.
Strategic Goals in the Russo-Ukrainian War
After a prolonged conflict between Russia and Ukraine, one can raise the question of the political objectives of each side. What are the plans for ending the war for each of the participants?
RussiaThe political goals that Putin set at the beginning of the war were not achieved due to Ukraine's resistance. The invasion goals remain unknown to most Russians. Were the strikes on Kyiv the main objective, or were they a diversionary maneuver to achieve the breakthrough goal to Crimea?
