Students-2025 can access educational grants in 'Diia': how to obtain a certificate by October 25.
According to inkorr.com: The Ministry of Education of Ukraine has announced that students entering in 2025 can receive certificates for educational grants through the 'Diia' app. The process will last until October 25, and certificates will also be granted to students who entered last year.
Grants will be paid directly to the university account for tuition payments according to the concluded contract. For this, students need to have a verified certificate and an order from the Ministry about the grant appointment. Funds will be received directly by the students.
Who will receive grants?
First-year students of 2025 who study full-time under the contract, as well as second-year students without debts, will be able to receive a grant in the 2025/2026 academic year, and their grant support will continue.
Size of the grant
The size of the grant for first-year students will depend on the results of the National Youth Test. For second-year students, the grant amount will increase depending on the rising cost of tuition but will not exceed 12% if the program remains the same.
Actions for students
Students need to update the 'Diia' app, wait for a notification about the certificate, confirm it by October 25, and also monitor payment and academic performance issues. In case of a change in the program or educational institution, the grant can be reissued without losses.
Recall that it was previously reported about the implementation of a panic button in schools of Ukraine. This initiative aims to provide an additional level of security for students.
These innovations indicate an activation of support for students by the state, which is currently especially important in the context of the changing educational environment. Obtaining educational grants can alleviate the financial burden on families and help future specialists achieve their educational goals.
