Pension fund will automatically extend subsidies: who does not need to apply.
According to inkorr.com: The company 'Wave' reported that with the start of the heating season, Ukrainians were explained how to reassign subsidies for utility services. This information was provided by the Pension Fund.
Automatic extension of payments
The heating season starts in October, and with it, new rules for providing housing subsidies are introduced. The Pension Fund will automatically extend payments to those who already have subsidies or received a 'zero' subsidy in the summer. These individuals do not need to apply independently.
Who must apply in person
Individuals who must submit an application:
- Those who are receiving a subsidy for the first time
- Recipients who were denied a subsidy for the summer period due to debts or lack of income
- Individuals who have changed their family composition or social status
Individuals requiring special requests
Who should apply under certain circumstances:
- Citizens registered at one address but living at another
- Military personnel receiving a subsidy not at their place of service
- Tenants who independently pay for utility services
Citizens who did not apply for a subsidy in the summer must urgently contact the Pension Fund in any convenient way.
Terms and conditions for receiving subsidies
The subsidy is assigned from the moment the application is submitted and is valid until the end of the heating period. If applied for within the first two months of the heating season, the subsidy will be granted from the beginning of the period.
Income calculation for receiving a subsidy
When determining the amount of the 'winter' subsidy, the income for the first and second half of the current year is taken into account, as well as pensions for August.
With the start of the heating season, Ukrainians were explained how to reassign subsidies for utility services. Some categories of citizens can count on automatic extensions of subsidies, while others must personally contact the Pension Fund. This is important for those applying for the first time, receiving a denial, or experiencing changes in family composition or social status. Attention is also drawn to special circumstances that may require active requests for subsidies.
