Switzerland has imposed new sanctions against Russia: what has been restricted.
Switzerland has joined the 18th package of European Union sanctions against Russia, introducing additional restrictions. The main decision is to reduce the maximum price for Russian crude oil to 47.60 dollars per barrel, as stated by the official representative of the Swiss government.
In addition, among the sanctions measures, 14 individuals and 41 legal entities have been targeted. They face asset freezing and a ban on entry and transit through the country's territory. The restrictions also apply to enterprises in the defense sector from Belarus and individuals from Moldova.
Switzerland has joined the sanctions campaign against Russia, which is currently being actively conducted by the European Union. The new restrictions are aimed at supporting international efforts in response to conflict situations from Russia and its allies.
