The owner of the Swiss bar, where a terrible fire occurred on New Year's Eve, which claimed the lives of 40 individuals, admitted that the emergency exit was closed. Jacques Moretti, a 49-year-old man, told investigators that after opening the door following the tragedy, he discovered a pile of bodies on the floor.“I had to unlock the door myself, and when I opened it, I saw a horrifying scene,' he commented.This tragedy sparked outrage and numerous questions regarding the safety of nightclubs. Authorities have launched an investigation to determine the causes that led to such a large-scale disaster.
