Oligarch Novinsky Accused the West of Denying God

Oligarch, ex-MP, and deacon of the Moscow church Vadim Novinsky claimed that the West allegedly denies God, spreads atheism, and aggressively imposes a lifestyle that once led to the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah. He noted that this year's opening ceremony of the Summer Olympics in Paris reminded him of Leonardo da Vinci's 'Last Supper'. The oligarch wrote about this in his Facebook post.

Vadim Novinsky stated that Orthodoxy is the main wealth that needs to be preserved. He emphasized the need to preserve the purity of Orthodoxy by passing it on to descendants. Thus, he supported the Russian Orthodox Church in Ukraine. The oligarch also congratulated on the Day of Remembrance of Vladimir the Great, who serves as an example for politicians.

Novinsky's associates outraged the religious feelings of Christians with a drag queen performance during the opening of the Olympic Games in Paris. The artistic director noted that the scene was not inspired by the 'Last Supper' but reflected a pagan holiday.

Let us recall that the pro-Russian oligarch Vadim Novinsky was arrested and his property was blocked. Also, Novinsky failed to name those responsible for missile strikes on civilian targets.
