Ukrainian singer Tina Karol invited to the celebration of Israel Independence Day
The Embassy of Israel invited the People's Artist of Ukraine Tina Karol to the celebration of Israel Independence Day. This was reported by 'Glavcom'.
The popular singer participated in the ceremony as a guest but did not sing during the event.
What Israel is celebrating
Every year, Israel celebrates a holiday dedicated to the country gaining independence, which they received on May 14, 1948. The day of celebration changes (depending on the Jewish calendar). In 2025, Israel Independence Day falls on April 30 according to the Gregorian calendar.
Tina Karol is a well-known international performer, born in Ukraine, but comes from a Ukrainian-Jewish family. Recently she celebrated her 40th birthday, talking about the tragic loss of her husband and her attitude towards the future.
