Tesla unveiled a seven-seat Model Y: sales start in China.
Tesla has introduced a new version of the popular Model YL crossover. This larger version of the car features six seating positions and has appeared in the company's online configurator for the Chinese market.
The Model YL is longer, taller, and has a greater wheelbase, significantly expanding the interior space. The trunk capacity is 2539 liters, and the second row now features electric armrests.
The Model YL has a range of up to 751 km according to the Chinese CLTC cycle, thanks to the increased battery pack.
Price and start of deliveries
The price of the new car starts at 339,000 yuan or about 47,000 US dollars. This is slightly more expensive than the standard Model Y Long Range version but offers more space and options.
