Her Instagram is also not distinguished by originality, where she posts only photos with coffee and walks in London. However, her biography contains an alarming message: “You either understand, or you pretend not to understand.”

Despite this, Tilly Norwood's emergence has caused a stir in Hollywood. Talent agencies are not rushing to collaborate with the avatar, and currently, Norwood looks more like an experiment than a serious threat.

Last week, Elaine Van der Velden, the founder of Particle6, announced the creation of a new AI talent studio called Xicoia at the Zurich Film Festival. This venture focuses on creating “hyper-real digital stars” for movies, TV shows, TikTok, podcasts, advertising campaigns, and video games, and it will also perform influencer duties, interacting with fans. Van der Velden presented Norwood as her first client, who appeared in Particle6's portfolio in July.

Van der Velden, who was once an actress, reported that Norwood has already attracted the attention of several talent agencies, and soon her representation will be announced. She is actively building her online presence, appearing in several AI-generated videos and images. Particle6 has also engaged Norwood in various “films” and public events. She already has an Instagram account with over 50,000 followers.

Feedback and Resistance in the Professional Community

However, despite some excitement surrounding Norwood's figure, much louder critical voices have been heard among working actors. On September 30, SAG-AFTRA released a statement condemning Norwood's creation, emphasizing that the union “considers creativity to be human and should remain so.” Van der Velden responded that she “sees AI not as a replacement for people but as a new tool.”

Among those actively opposing were actors like Emily Blunt and Whoopi Goldberg, who also spoke out against the potential use of the AI actress, while major talent agencies have yet to have a clear positioning regarding collaboration with Norwood.
