Fuel Crisis in Russia: Gasoline Rationing Disappears at Crimean Gas Stations

In the Crimea occupied by Russia, gasoline has disappeared from gas stations, with huge queues of residents, and gasoline is being issued on ration cards. Prices for gasoline in Russia are skyrocketing, and experts predict further increases. The fuel crisis in Russia is once again becoming a topic of discussion.

Queues at gas stations in Russia are reaching critical proportions. Local authorities justify the fuel shortages by claiming increased consumption during the tourist season, but the real reason is Ukrainian drones attacking Russia's oil refineries and damaging its energy sector.

“Units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine's drone systems, in cooperation with other components of the Defense Forces, struck the 'Novoshakhtinsk Oil Products Plant' (Rostov Oblast, Russia). It is one of the largest suppliers of oil products in southern Russia. It participates in supplying the Russian Armed Forces. The total volume of tanks is over 210 thousand cubic meters,” the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported.

Professor, economist Oleksandr Savchenko estimates Russia's losses due to Ukrainian attacks in the billions of dollars and emphasizes that Russia cannot effectively protect its oil industry. Nevertheless, the Ukrainian Defense Forces continue to successfully attack production facilities in the unfriendly country, leading to serious consequences for the Russian energy sector.

Ukrainian actions have a serious impact on Russia's economy and the security of its oil industry. The situation with the fuel crisis in the country is developing very quickly, and the consequences of this situation could have a huge impact on the entire industry.
