Fatal Car Accident in Kyiv: Skoda Driver Crashes into Advertising Billboard, One Dead.
According to ТСН: A tragedy occurred in the Solomyanskyi district of Kyiv: a Skoda Octavia car was involved in a car accident after crashing into an advertising billboard.
The Kyiv police are investigating the circumstances of this accident.
“On Sunday, December 28, around 11:50 PM, the driver of the Skoda Octavia, moving along Vadym Hetman's Street from the direction of the 'Shulyavska' metro station towards the 'Karavaievy Dachi' station, lost control and left the roadway, where he crashed into an advertising billboard.”
A 24-year-old passenger died at the accident scene. The driver and another 23-year-old passenger of the car sustained serious injuries and were hospitalized.
A criminal case has been initiated under part 2 of Article 286 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine – violation of traffic safety rules leading to death.
The Minibus Driver Also Became the Cause of the Accident
Another accident occurred in Kyiv region: a minibus crossed into the oncoming lane, resulting in a collision with Jeep and Volkswagen vehicles. One person died, and another 13 were injured.
These incidents emphasize the importance of adhering to traffic regulations, as any disregard can lead to tragic consequences. Relevant authorities continue to investigate to clarify all circumstances and identify those responsible for these accidents.
