According to UATV: On June 17, 2023, Russian forces launched a series of strikes that resulted in civilian casualties, widespread destruction, and injuries across Kherson, Kharkiv, Sumy, Donetsk, and Zaporizhzhia regions. In Kherson alone, over 40 settlements came under fire, leaving two people dead and 11 wounded. This coordinated assault highlights the ongoing danger faced by communities near the front lines.

In Kharkiv city and its surrounding area, shelling injured 11 individuals. Sumy region reported four civilian casualties, including one child. Donetsk saw two fatalities and at least six wounded, with 56 private homes damaged in the city of Sloviansk. Zaporizhzhia experienced a heavy barrage that killed one person and injured seven. 'The shelling occurred in the Kherson region,' stated the press service of the Kherson Regional Military Administration. According to Oleh Syniehubov, 'private and multi-story residential buildings were damaged in the region.'
