USA will provide security guarantees to Ukraine: what Trump promises.
According to FREEДOM: The USA will contribute to security guarantees for Ukraine. This was stated today, August 25, by Donald Trump during a conversation with journalists at the White House, reports FREEДOM.
The President of the USA added that Washington will no longer allocate money for Kyiv but will sell necessary weapons to NATO. Ukraine, for its part, will be able to submit requests to the Alliance in advance regarding what weapons are needed.
'We do not know the essence of the obligations regarding defense, as we have not discussed the details. European countries intend to provide Ukraine with serious security guarantees - and they must do so, after all, it is their continent. But the USA will participate in the process in terms of support; we will help them. It seems to me that if we reach an agreement - and I believe we will reach it - then we will support peace. I want people to stop dying', - said Donald Trump.
