A video address by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy is planned for February 16, which could serve as a significant statement of Ukraine's position ahead of the talks. Currently, expectations are that the Geneva meetings may open new avenues for a peaceful settlement of the regional situation.
This negotiation round occurs against the backdrop of ongoing tensions between Ukraine and Russia, underscoring the importance of international support in resolving the conflict.
