Trump stated there is no deadline for peace in Ukraine: what he discussed with Zelensky.
According to ТСН: U.S. President Donald Trump, before starting negotiations with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in Mar-a-Lago, commented on the timeline for reaching a peace agreement.
He noted that there are currently no deadlines for reaching an agreement.
“I have no deadline. My task is to end, to stop this war,”he emphasized.
Meeting of the leaders
It should be noted that on December 28, a meeting took place between Presidents Donald Trump and Volodymyr Zelensky in Palm Beach, Florida, during which a peace plan to end the war in Ukraine was discussed.
After the negotiations, Zelensky and Trump will call European leaders.
Before the meeting with Zelensky, President Trump had a conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
This meeting is a significant step in seeking ways to end the war in Ukraine. The discussions between the leaders will depend not only on the future of bilateral relations but also on the stability in the region. We hope that diplomatic efforts will bear fruit and help find a peaceful resolution to the conflict.
