According to inkorr.com: A resonant event took place in the Dagestani city of Derbent: wrestling coach Ramis Abdulqadirov got into an argument with the son of a woman he had a relationship with.
The conflict between the men ended in a fight. After that, Ramis, along with his son, was leaving the city with Shamil when he was murdered and buried. The relatives of the deceased turned to law enforcement agencies, and the criminals were detained at the airport in Makhachkala. They now face life imprisonment.
Until 2023, Ramis led the sports school 'Compromise'. His colleagues and students were left in shock by this tragic event.

Freestyle skier Anastasia Tatalina appealed to the International Ski and Snowboard Federation (FIS) asking to allow her to participate in the 2026 Olympic Games. Tatalina is a member of the Russian military club CSKA, which has connections to events in Ukraine.
