Turkey mass closes hotels before the season: hoteliers gave advice to tourists.
Mass closing of hotels in Turkey: what is happening?
The last few days have filled the media with news of the closure of over 4,000 hotels in Turkey, which has shocked tourists. However, industry representatives calmly stated that this is a standard procedure for addressing deficiencies in the operations of some establishments.
According to the head of one large tourism holding, this is not about sudden closures, but rather a standard procedure for eliminating technical and administrative shortcomings in the operations of some hotels.
Lawyer Abide Saralu provoked a flood of rumors by talking about 4,000 hotels that are sealed due to the lack of tourist facility certificates. In reality, many hotels simply did not manage to make it onto the official register as required.
It has been noted that hotels inform travel agencies in advance about any changes and cancellations of bookings if problems arise. Therefore, it is recommended to check the hotel's status and confirm the reservation before traveling to avoid misunderstandings.
Prices for vacations in Turkey have increased, but according to feedback from vacationers, the stay has become more comfortable and peaceful, not overcrowded with tourists.
