The tourism industry of Ukraine has surpassed pre-war income levels.
The tourism industry of Ukraine is developing at an impressive pace - tourism revenues in the first quarter of 2025 turned out to be higher than expected. Nearly 799 million UAH have been received in the country's budget, which is an absolute record compared to previous years.
The leaders in tax revenues were Kyiv, Lviv region, and Odesa region - these regions benefited the most from the increase in tourist flow. Nataliya Tabaka, head of the State Agency for Tourism Development, emphasized that the industry showed resilience and flexibility even in difficult conditions, but requires careful monitoring due to its high vulnerability to changes.
Even in such challenging conditions, tourism demonstrates resilience and adaptability. However, it is a very sensitive sector. Increased attacks and threats immediately affect demand.
According to official forecasts, the development of tourism in Ukraine will maintain a positive dynamic until the end of the year, provided the security situation does not worsen. Ukrainian countries may expect even greater demand among travelers from around the world.
The Ukrainian tourism industry shows impressive growth rates, providing record tourism revenues, especially concerning Kyiv, Lviv region, and Odesa region. Tourism has demonstrated its resilience and flexibility even during challenging periods, evidencing its importance for the country's economy.
