The teacher pleaded guilty to sexually abusing a minor student. Over several months, she sent the teenager over 500 pounds and exchanged explicit photos with him via Snapchat.

A released video from a police officer's bodycam showed her shocking confession when asked why she had sent pornographic images to the boy.

"He kept asking, wouldn't leave me alone," she replied.

The teacher attempted to shift the blame onto the boy by claiming he had shown interest.

The boy's parents discovered the situation when they noticed his unusual behavior. After reviewing his phone, they learned about their son's frequent visits to Bardfield's home in Illinois.

She referred to their meetings as 'playdates', one of which ended with sexual contact.

When the parents asked their son about the messages, he confessed immediately.

The parents contacted the police.

The boy's phone also contained photos of Bardfield and videos of her house.

The boy's sick mother took him to the hospital, where medical procedures were performed.

Arrest and consequences

After discovering the situation in April 2024, the boy's family and the police planned a sting for the teacher.

According to Daily Star, she fell into the trap due to incriminating text messages and phone calls.

The boy had informed her that he was leaving town but hoped to see her again soon:

"I love you and miss you, Ally," he wrote.

She replied: "You are always welcome. I love you too and miss you."

In a recorded phone call, she told the boy that she could not get pregnant. The court documents state:

"The victim asked Ally if they could have sex again, and Ally replied 'yes'.

The teacher pleaded guilty to the sexual abuse of a minor and was immediately dismissed from her job.

The sentence is expected on September 25.
