According to The Sun: Two men have been arrested in Utah on suspicion of organizing an explosive device near the campus where activist Charlie Kirk was shot. This occurred amid Donald Trump's statements that 'many people' are suspected of involvement in his murder.

Adeeb Nasir, 58, and Adil Justice Ahme Nasir, 31, were detained on Sunday after explosives were discovered under a news agency's vehicle in Utah.

Explosives experts confirmed that the device was activated but 'did not function as planned.' They noted it posed a 'significant' threat to public safety.

Jeffrey David Nelson, a detective with the Unified Fire Authority, commented:

“Given the nature of the device and its location, this incident represented a serious threat to public safety.”

Firearms, drugs, and imitation weapons were also found in the suspects' residence.

It's worth noting that these imitation devices look very realistic and contain nothing dangerous.

Charlie Kirk, a father of two, died after being shot in the neck last Wednesday at the 'American Comeback' event held in Utah. He was 31 years old and died in the hospital during a massive manhunt for the shooter, which resulted in the arrest of main suspect Tyler Robinson, 22.

Police are investigating to determine the motives for the murder, including looking into potential leftist group involvement in Utah and online with the shooting, according to the New York Post.

Trump stated to reporters on Sunday:

“The problem is left. Many people who you would traditionally call leftists... [are] already under investigation.”

Governor of Utah Spencer Cox expressed concerns that Robinson may have been radicalized in 'dark' corners of the internet, noting that although he “comes from a conservative family,” his “ideology differed greatly from that of his family.”

The governor noted:

“We all have many questions about how a person like this could become radicalized. These are important questions we need to find answers to.”

The governor also confirmed that Robinson has a transgender partner who is cooperating with the FBI in the case of the conservative activist's murder.

“We can confirm that his partner is a guy transitioning from male to female,” Cox noted.

“This information has previously been confirmed by the FBI. He is coordinating his actions with authorities,” the governor added.

The Sun reported on Saturday that Robinson was seen kissing his partner two weeks before the shooting.

Authorities reported on Friday that a 'cohabitant' aided in the investigation by passing along messages from a contact named “Tyler.”

Robinson's arrest occurred after his father turned him in, concluding a tense manhunt for the suspect.

He confessed to his father about the murder, after which his father shared this information with a family friend who called the police to the scene the day before.

Robinson was arrested on Thursday evening in St. George, Utah.
