Will, a lecturer at the Arden School of Theater in Manchester, had arrived in Lisbon just a day before the crash.

'I knew this funny woman, this wonderful woman since my teenage years,' said Kayde's close friend, Leslie Himer.
Investigation ongoing
The Portuguese police confirmed that among the 22 people hospitalized after the crash, there were no British citizens. The death of Kayde and Will has become part of a larger tragedy, which also claimed the life of an 82-year-old UK resident, whose name has not yet been released.
The Portuguese authorities continue to investigate the causes of the disaster, which also resulted in 22 injuries, trying to determine why this horrific incident occurred.
The Prime Minister of the UK, Sir Keir Starmer, expressed his 'deep condolences' regarding the deaths of the British citizens, stating: 'My thoughts are with their families and those affected by this horrific incident.'
The crash occurred when a tram filled with tourists suddenly lost control while descending 2400 feet down the scenic Calçada da Glória.
