Two young women from the United Kingdom ended up in intensive care after being hit in Ibiza. The driver of the Toyota Corolla, a 24-year-old Spaniard, reportedly lost control and caused a horrific accident around 2 am. Both victims have serious injuries, such as brain injuries, fractures, and other damage. One of them is currently in serious condition in a private clinic, while the other is in a public hospital on the island. Fortunately, the driver passed the alcohol test, but it is currently unknown whether a drug test was conducted. An investigation and research are ongoing to determine the causes and circumstances of this horrific event. This is already the second case this month with fatal consequences for British tourists in Ibiza, which calls for increased attention to road safety and the necessity of adhering to traffic rules.
