Putin invited Zelensky to negotiations in Moscow: what is known about the conditions.
Invitation to peace negotiations
According to The Sun: Vladimir Putin invited Vladimir Zelensky to engage in peace negotiations, provided the Ukrainian leader agrees to come to Moscow.
This proposal was made by the Russian president during a press conference in Beijing, where he arrived on a visit.

Putin expressed hope that the war in Ukraine could be concluded with an agreement, adding that there is 'light at the end of the tunnel.'
However, he also issued a worrying warning that the conflict would be 'resolved' militarily if peace is not achieved.
Continuation of negotiations
This is not the first time Putin has spoken about the possibility of negotiations in Moscow. He also offered this during a conversation with Donald Trump last month.
Speaking in China, Putin noted:
“As for a meeting with Zelensky, I have never ruled out the possibility of such a meeting. But is there any sense in this? We will see.”
Furthermore, the Russian president emphasized that Ukraine needs to lift the martial law, hold elections, and conduct a referendum on territory in order to make progress.
Negotiations to end the war in Ukraine have yet to yield significant results, and many analysts doubt Putin's real desire to reach a peace agreement.
This proposal once again highlights the growing tension related to the conflict:
“Putin is demonstrating his impunity. And this certainly requires a response from the world,”- responded Volodymyr Zelensky.

It is noteworthy that Putin's proposal to conduct negotiations indicates an attempt to find a political exit from the situation, although there have been no significant changes in the relationship between Ukraine and Russia. The subsequent actions of the leaders of these countries may influence the development of events in the region and the possibility of achieving peace.
