No More Paper Gas Bills for Ukrainians in 2026: What the New Rule Means.
Guidance for Naftogaz Ukraine Customers
According to Novyny.live: Customers of the gas supplier Naftogaz Ukraine have received new instructions about keeping paper receipts for utility payments. Starting in 2026, holding onto physical receipts will no longer be a requirement. All payments can be stored digitally through the mobile app 'Cube'.
From now on, users can already rely on the 'Cube' application to save their payment records. Notably, online payments become available as early as the 10th of each month, whereas traditional paper bills are not sent out until after the 20th. This means consumers can settle their accounts sooner without waiting for physical documents.
Switching Away from Paper Invoices
For those who want to stop receiving paper invoices, the Naftogaz portal offers a straightforward solution. The opt-out process can be completed via the 'Payment History' section or by navigating through 'Profile' → 'My Payments' → 'Current Invoice'. After paying the bill, users simply need to activate the 'Receive invoices online' button. This feature lets consumers manage their finances conveniently while keeping all payment information in electronic form.
Moving to digital payment systems in gas supply marks a key step toward modernizing customer service.
The rollout of the 'Cube' mobile app aims to simplify and speed up financial management for consumers, while also cutting down on paper usage—a move that benefits the environment. To boost convenience and service accessibility, Naftogaz Ukraine continues to introduce digital solutions that meet the evolving needs of its customers.
