Biden reacted to possible negotiations between Ukraine and the Russian Federation.
President Biden confirmed the principle 'Nothing about Ukraine without Ukraine' and stated that Volodymyr Zelensky will choose the time and conditions for negotiations himself. This was announced by White House advisor John Kirby.
Kirby emphasized that the U.S. administration does not intend to hold discussions about Ukraine without its participation and will not impose its demands on it. President Zelensky has the right to determine when and under what conditions to negotiate.
The White House representative also noted that the U.S. administration supports the government of Ukraine and is doing everything possible to provide the army with the necessary resources to fight against Russian aggression.
In addition, Kirby reminded that Putin has to seek help from North Korea and collect many bags for corpses. This indicates that the war in eastern Ukraine has a high cost for Russia.
