A Belarusian volunteer was killed in a battle against Russian invaders
Yesterday, April 16, a Belarusian volunteer named Oleksiy Avdey, known by the call sign 'Rizhi', was killed in the east of Ukraine during the war against Russian invaders. This was reported by the Belarusian Volunteer Corps, referencing Glavkom.
"Excentric, loud, sharp, sincere, tireless, and devoted to his cause. The redhead died in battle, as he wished in life. We honor your memory and are proud that you stood bravely together with us in line."
It is noted that Oleksiy received fatal wounds in the Kupiansk direction. He was only 26 years old and always dedicatedly performed the tasks assigned to him.
Memory of fallen volunteers
This tragedy is yet another heavy blow for volunteers who give their lives in the struggle for freedom and independence. In March, a British volunteer was killed, in February - a Polish one, and in April - a Finnish one. Each of them leaves behind a great memory and an enormous loss for their families and comrades in arms.
