The first services on the Prague to Bohumín route are scheduled to commence in early March 2026, promising a significant upgrade to the country's railway connectivity. From March 9 to June 17, 2026, the national carrier České dráhy (ČD) will operate the SuperCity SC 511/516 service using the ED250 Pendolino. Capable of reaching speeds up to 250 km/h, these trains are designed to offer passengers a swift and comfortable journey between major urban centers.
