On the birthday of Taras Shevchenko, March 9, a 25-year-old sculptor and defender died at the front. This was reported by the 'Glavkom' website citing a message from Ivan Rusev, an employee of the national park, on Facebook.

Taras Shevchenko graduated from the Grekov Odesa Art College. At the beginning of the conflict with the Russian Federation, he went to defend Ukraine together with his father Oleksandr.

In civilian life, Taras worked at the national natural park 'Tuzlivski Lymany'.

A young, extraordinarily bright artist from Ukrainian Bessarabia has been lost.
