Countries in the European Union no longer support Ukraine as shown by YouGov survey data. In France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Sweden, Denmark, and the United Kingdom, the number of supporters for Ukraine has decreased. For example, in Sweden, support dropped to 50% (down from 57%), in Denmark to 40% (down from 51%), and in the United Kingdom to 36% (down from 50%).
However, in Italy, Spain, France, and Germany, the number of people who believe in achieving peace through negotiations has increased. For instance, in Italy, the number rose to 55% (an increase from 45%), in Spain to 46% (an increase from 38%), in France to 43% (an increase from 35%), and in Germany to 45% (an increase from 38%).
The number of supporters for Ukraine's victory has remained unchanged only in France, Germany, and Sweden, while it has decreased in other countries. The reasons for this phenomenon are unclear at the moment, but it may be related to a declining interest in the conflict or fatigue from it.
Previously, it was noted that Russia attempted to manipulate UN statistics regarding the occupation of Crimea.
