“For Hitler, Jews were to blame for everything, for Putin – Ukrainians” – Chief Rabbi of Ukraine on Russian propaganda.
The Chief Rabbi of Ukraine Moshe Reuven Asman stated that Russian propaganda is similar to Nazi, with narratives that Russians copy.
«Russian propaganda is close to Nazi propaganda. If you look at the narratives of Nazi propaganda, I think they are just copied (from Nazi Germany – ED. «Glavcom»),” he said.
Asman added that Russians themselves decide “who to make fascists,” and then spread narratives that these “fascists” need to be killed.
«If they call someone a fascist, it means they depersonalize this person. And a fascist can be killed, run over by a tank along with his family. And they already say that not only Ukrainians are fascists, but also Europeans and Americans. And the list can go on, because they themselves decide who to make fascists», – he said.
According to him, now Russians hate Ukrainians as much as the German Nazis once hated Jews. The Rabbi suggested that after the war, they might repent for a long time for what they have done.
«I am not a prophet, but when Russians find out the whole truth, it will be a shock for them, and they will repent, of course», – said Asman.
Earlier, it was reported that defending Ukraine in the war, the adoptive son of the Chief Rabbi of Ukraine Moshe Reuven Asman was killed.
Later, it became known that on September 12, in the Central Synagogue of Kyiv, a farewell was held for the adoptive son of the Chief Rabbi of Ukraine – Matityahu (Anton) Samborsky, who died on the frontline defending Ukraine.
By the way, the Chief Rabbi of Kyiv and Ukraine, Moshe Reuven Asman, reported that he became a grandfather and equated this event to a good sign for Ukraine and to victory.
