Representative of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Vadym Skibitsky, spoke about the current situation with the Russian espionage network in Ukraine and the enemy's plans to destabilize the situation in the country.

During a discussion within the framework of the publication's project "Left Bank" entitled "New Country," he noted that Russia does not have a sufficiently powerful espionage network in Ukraine that could fulfill all the tasks set. Despite this, the Russians' plans to destabilize the situation in Ukraine remain unchanged, including powerful missile strikes on infrastructure.

The GUR representative noted that while cases of car arson, information leaks about the movement of Ukrainian troops, and other similar incidents do occur, their scale is not as significant as it sometimes seems.

"The more the enemy is aware of our plans and actions, the more difficult it is to conduct operations and conduct armed struggle in general," Skibitsky emphasized.

He added that all crimes committed not only by Russian military personnel but also by civilians involved in the manufacture of weapons used against Ukraine are being recorded. In particular, the designers of cruise missiles and devices for aerial bombs are being documented. Telephone conversations of the occupiers are also being recorded, which in the future may be used as evidence to hold them accountable.

Let us recall that at the beginning of August, the SBU caught a GRU agent in a cassock who was preparing attacks on the Kharkiv region.
