Attack on Kherson Region on June 24
According to Novyny.live: On June 24, Russian forces struck the Kherson region, leading to the death of a 24-year-old employee of the international humanitarian organization Norwegian People's Aid. According to Oleksandr Prokudin,
“a 24-year-old demining specialist sustained injuries incompatible with life as a result of a Russian shelling attack on Novopetrivka in the Vysokopillya community. My condolences to the family and friends.”
Three other members of the organization were also wounded in the same attack. Meanwhile, shelling occurred on the outskirts of Sumy, leaving three civilians injured. Additionally, the enemy targeted the center of Konotop in Sumy region, where there are also casualties. These incidents highlight the escalating threats in areas affected by ongoing military hostilities, underscoring the dangers faced by both humanitarian workers and local residents.
