In Kyiv, repairs to the 'zebra crossing' have begun after the dismantling of the overpass on Saperno-Slobidska Street. This was reported by news correspondents from LIVE.
Dismantling of the overpass
According to the Kyiv City State Administration (KCSA), the pedestrian bridge over Saperno-Slobidska will be closed from July 10 to June next year. Traffic will also be partially restricted on this street.
'The restrictions are related to emergency repair work on the structure, which will be carried out by specialists from Kyivavtoshlyakhmist', representatives reported in a statement.
The city has already identified unsatisfactory technical conditions of several bridges, which could lead to critical situations. Planned repair work on the metro bridge has also been postponed due to weather conditions.
After the dismantling of the overpass in Kyiv, repair work has begun on Saperno-Slobidska Street, which will lead to restrictions on the movement of vehicles and pedestrians on this route.
