Power outage schedules in Kyiv are shifting: what does the 30-minute shift mean.
According to ТСН: Starting from Wednesday, December 3, there will be changes to the power outage schedules in Kyiv — all time intervals will be shifted back by half an hour.
This was reported by DTEK.
“A small update of the weekly outage schedules! Simply, at the request of Ukrenergo, all time slots from December 3 are shifted back by 30 minutes,” said the company.
DTEK clarified that, for example, if your white zone in the weekly schedule previously started at 9:00, it will now start at 8:30. The gray zones will also change, while other parameters remain unchanged.
“After the approval of the daily schedule on December 3, the weekly schedules will be automatically updated on the website and in the chat bot,” the company noted.
These changes are aimed at ensuring that power outages in Kyiv and the region occur at different hours, which will help reduce the load on the energy system after the restoration of electricity supply.
Changes in the outage schedules are important for stabilizing the energy system, especially in the context of increasing electricity consumption. DTEK is actively working on optimizing processes to minimize inconveniences for consumers and ensure reliable electricity supply in the city and region.
