In Moldova, a court decided to arrest the head of Gagauzia, Eugenia Hutsul, for 30 days. She is suspected of illegally financing the 'Shor' party. Hutsul's detention occurred at Chisinau airport when she tried to fly to Istanbul.
This is Hutsul's second detention. She was previously detained for 72 hours along with two other 'Shor' activists, but they managed to disappear at that time.
According to the investigation, Hutsul worked as the secretary of the 'Shor' party and illegally brought money from Russia to Moldova. Additionally, she visited Russia and met with Putin.
