Large Traffic Jams at the Border with Moldova: How Long to Wait at the Checkpoint.
Today, August 14, a large traffic jam formed at the checkpoint 'Palanca - Mayaki - Udobne' towards Moldova on the Odessa-Reni road. Traffic jams are also being reported on the way to Romania near border villages.
This was reported by Novyny.LIVE via the Google Maps mapping service.
Traffic Jams to Moldova
Currently, there is a large queue of cars at the 'Palanca - Mayaki - Udobne' checkpoint, and travelers will have to wait at least an hour. This should be taken into account by travelers when planning their route. At the Reni checkpoint, according to the mapping service, there is a small traffic jam, so passage there is also complicated. As for 'Starokozache - Tudora', there are no queues there.
Traffic Jams to Romania
At the closest ferry crossing to Romania, the 'Orlivka - Isakcha' checkpoint, there are currently no traffic jams. The canal Kofa area has not recorded any. However, several significant traffic jams are observed near the border village of Brosska. The trip from Odessa will take about 5 hours.
