Ritter Sport to Release Chocolate with Crickets: What the Brand is Really Preparing.
German Ritter Sport Will Release 'Whole Cricket' Chocolate
Ritter Sport, the maker of beloved chocolates, has introduced a new product - 'Ganze Grille' ('Whole Cricket') chocolate, which is meant to resemble 'crunchy cricket legs'.
Company representatives explained that this new product will be available only in digital format, and will not contain any insects inside, reports the Hungarian publication Szeretlek Magyarország.
In the new vegan range, Ritter Sport will replace milk with almond milk and eco-friendly cocoa, and will also add roasted peanuts and caramel. This move emphasizes the brand's focus on sustainability.
This decision might be aimed at drawing attention to the new vegan product range. By the way, previously Google Japan released chips with 'smartphone' flavor as part of an advertising campaign for the new Pixel 7 and 7 Pro smartphones.
