27 thousand Ukrainians have found jobs in Norway: what is known about the new wave of refugees.
According to ТСН: In Norway, there is an increase in the number of Ukrainian refugees who have found work after leaving Ukraine due to the war.
According to NRK, by the end of 2025, 27 thousand Ukrainian citizens are already employed.
Growth in Employment Among Refugees
Throughout the year, the employment rate of Ukrainian refugees has noticeably increased compared to 2024. Currently, there are more than 100 thousand Ukrainians under temporary protection in Norway.
New Wave of Migration
A new wave of arrivals of Ukrainians to Norway was recorded in September-October 2025. This is associated with changes in the rules for crossing the border of Ukraine, which allowed young men aged 18 to 22 to leave.
In addition, Germany intends to cut benefits for refugees from Ukraine who arrived after April 1, 2025. The government of the country plans to make a decision regarding the transfer of these Ukrainians to another system of social payments.
The constant influx of Ukrainian refugees into Norway indicates that many of them are trying to find new opportunities for life and work in European countries. Meanwhile, the issue of social support in other countries, such as Germany, remains an important aspect that requires attention and discussion at the international level.
