Important Data About October Pensions Announced by the PFU.
The Pension Fund of Ukraine Has Completed Financing Pensions for October 2024
On October 25, the Pension Fund of Ukraine announced that it had completed financing pensions for October 2024. The total amount of payments amounted to 64 billion hryvnias. Of these, through JSC 'Ukrposhta', 9.5 billion UAH was directed, and through authorized banks - 49.3 billion UAH.
In addition, 1459.1 million UAH was allocated for housing subsidies and benefits, and 2389.0 million UAH for insurance payments, including 1224.4 million UAH for sick leave payments. Throughout October, the bodies of the Pension Fund of Ukraine provided 879 thousand services to citizens who applied for assistance.
The Stability of Pension Payments Ensured Despite Military Challenges
According to the audit results of the Accounting Chamber of Ukraine, the PFU ensured the stability of pension payments even during military challenges. Over 10 million pensioners received their pensions on time and in full. In 2023, thanks to automatic recalculations and indexations, the average pension amount increased by 579 UAH.
