In Poland, you can buy an "energy voucher": how much it costs, necessary documents.

In Poland, the acceptance of applications for the energy voucher begins, which will last from August 1 to September 30, 2024. This was reported by the Telegram channel "Real Warsaw".

An energy voucher is financial support for families with low income levels. It is available to households where the income per person does not exceed 2500 zloty if the person lives alone, or 1700 zloty per person if several people live in the household.

Despite this, even if the income exceeds the established limits, you can apply for an energy voucher. The payment amount will be reduced by each zloty that exceeds the income limit.

"The amount of the energy voucher depends on the size of the household and its main heating source. For example, households where the main heating source is electricity are entitled to receive an increased bonus," the message states.

To obtain the voucher, you need to submit an application. If you want to use a paper application form, you need to sign it personally. Then you can personally deliver the application to the head of your municipality, the mayor or the president of the city, depending on your place of residence, or send the application to the relevant department.

When applying for an energy voucher, you must have a sufficient amount of data:

• Applicant's data: name(s) and surname, address of residence or stay, PESEL number, series and number of the identity document, citizenship, email address (consent to provide), phone number (consent to provide);
• Applicant's income data;
• Information about the main heating source of the household according to the Law;
• Bank account number and surname, name and middle name of the account holder, to whom the voucher amount will be transferred, if the applicant wants to receive money to the account;
• Data to verify the applicant's income;
• Information about other members of the household;
• Declaration of the accuracy of the information provided in the application.
