In Poland, the largest training center for the Armed Forces of Ukraine has been opened: opportunities and details.
According to inkorr.com: The largest training center for Ukrainian military personnel, named Camp Jomsborg, has been opened in Poland. According to the Ministry of Defense, this center can train up to 1,200 servicemen simultaneously.
'The training center, created with the support of European partners, including Norway, will provide training for the Defense Forces and strengthen the exchange of combat experience between the Armed Forces of Ukraine and NATO. Here we will be able to share with our partners, including developments in the use and counteraction of drones.'
Representatives of the defense ministry reported that the decision to open this training center was made back in May 2025. It is located at one of the training grounds of the Polish land forces and is part of NATO's support for Ukraine.
Currently, 250 instructors from Norway are already working at the training center, and there are plans to involve servicemen from Estonia and other NATO countries.
The main goal of Camp Jomsborg is to prepare Ukrainian military personnel, strengthen cooperation with NATO, and share experience in the field of defense.
The emergence of such a large training center in Poland indicates the steadfast commitment of international partners to support Ukraine in the face of modern security challenges. It also reinforces the strengthening of cooperation between Ukraine and NATO, which is particularly important in the context of current events in the region. Camp Jomsborg will be an important step in enhancing the qualifications of Ukrainian military personnel and strengthening the country's defense capabilities.Read also
