Putin and Trump will discuss the results of the US-Ukraine meeting: details of the conversation.
According to ТСН: A phone conversation will soon take place between Russian President Vladimir Putin and US President Donald Trump, which will concern the results of Trump's meeting with Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky.
Putin's spokesman Dmitry Peskov announced this.
Peskov also noted that the Kremlin has no information on the progress of negotiations between Zelensky and Trump, so they cannot assess them. At the same time, Russia shares Trump's view that peace has become 'much closer'.
The spokesman for the Russian president considers it inappropriate to comment on specific aspects of the peace agreement regarding the war in Ukraine.
It is worth noting that the day before, Trump had a phone conversation with Putin before the meeting with Zelensky on December 28. The President of Ukraine reported that Trump discussed all 20 points of the peace plan in detail with Putin.
Peskov also added that currently there is no talk of a phone conversation between Putin and Zelensky.
This phone conversation between Putin and Trump will be an important stage in diplomatic efforts to settle the conflict in Ukraine. The determination of the positions of the two presidents may significantly influence further negotiations and the possibility of a peaceful resolution to the situation.
