The Government of Ukraine plans to introduce economic reservation from mobilization
This was reported by MP Yaroslav Zheleznyak on Telegram.
The Ministry of Economy is developing several models of economic reservation, and they plan to implement this measure in October-November. The main criterion may be the level of wages.
"Currently, the Ministry of Economy confirmed at the Committee that it is working on economic reservation, where one of the criteria will (but not necessarily) be the level of wages. At the moment, several models are being developed, but the final decision is awaiting the position of the higher political leadership. As for implementation dates: they plan around October-November," Zheleznyak said.
This could lead to additional budget revenues of about 40 billion hryvnias annually, according to conservative estimates.
"Therefore, they need monthly reporting on payroll taxes in the tax law," the MP added.
Thus, the government is trying to find a way to more effectively attract financial resources for the defense of the country.
