The Rada determined regarding the mobilization of those fit with limitations up to 25 years.
The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine plans to stop the mobilization of men aged 18 to 25 through a separate order, without waiting for the adoption of the relevant bill. This was announced by the head of parliament, Ruslan Stefanchuk.
Stefanchuk: The issue of youth mobilization requires an immediate solution. It is planned to issue a special order to halt the conscription of this age category. The order must also ensure that mobilized young people will not be sent to assault positions.
Earlier, the Verkhovna Rada adopted the basis of a bill aimed at eliminating a legal collision, according to which men under 25 who had not undergone military service or training at the military department, but were deemed fit with limitations, could be subject to mobilization. The goal of adopting this bill is to regulate the situation at the legislative level.
The situation sparked debates in parliament. Deputy Yaroslav Zheleznyak reported blocking the podium with a demand to vote for the bill as a whole, but the "Servant of the People" faction opposed, leading to a transition to consideration of other bills.
Earlier, pensioners were explained who and for what reasons will be exempt from mobilization.
