The TCC does not accept documents for deferment: what to do.

Ukrainians were explained what to do when the TCC refuses to accept documents for deferment from mobilization.
The rules for granting deferment from mobilization have changed in Ukraine, and now this process is regulated by government decree No. 560 dated May 16, 2024. However, some citizens face problems as they encounter refusal to accept documents at local territorial recruitment and social support centers (TCC and SSC).
To obtain a deferment, citizens need to contact the TCC and submit an application addressed to the head of the special commission along with the necessary documents confirming the right to the deferment. The procedure requires the personal participation of the liable citizen.
Lawyer Danilo Honcharenko explained that the TCC and SSC commission does not have the right to refuse to accept documents along with a deferment application. If a citizen is unlawfully refused, they have the right to resubmit the application or appeal such a refusal in court.
