Enemy is running out of prepared operations on the Pokrovsk direction — military analyst.
Russian occupiers were preparing an offensive operation for six months since the end of 2023, but they failed to implement it. According to military analyst Oleksii Hetman, the rains that will start soon will hinder the active actions of Russian troops.
"What they [the Russian military command] prepared is coming to an end. It should not be understood literally that people, shells, or equipment are running out. Prepared operations are running out because any operation, offensive operation is prepared, not just by gathering a certain number of people, equipment, artillery, aviation, it's the interaction between branches of forces, between units," he noted.
Hetman explained that during the preparation of an offensive operation, a logistics system and other details are developed. For example, for troops to conduct combat operations, they must receive a combat order, which is prepared in advance and agreed upon with other Russian troops located in the same direction.
"The Russians understand that what they prepared is coming to an end. Favorable weather conditions are ending, and they are suffering serious losses. Reserves have been engaged," the analyst noted.
According to Hetman, the Russian army is trying to find weak points in the Ukrainian defense, but they have not managed to reach Pokrovsk. They maneuver from different directions, but so far, this has not brought success. The most promising direction for them is Kurakhivskyi, where they try to encircle and partially encircle Ukrainian troops.
