Zaluzhny is not leaving the post of ambassador to Britain: the Ministry of Foreign Affairs refuted the media information.
According to ТСН: Today, media reports surfaced that Ukraine's ambassador to the UK, Valeriy Zaluzhny, allegedly plans to leave his post at the beginning of January. However, this information is not true.
The media advisor of Zaluzhny, Oksana Torop, stated this in a comment.
"As always, unnamed sources know everything about Zaluzhny and his plans. But nothing has changed. He continues to defend Ukraine's interests as the ambassador to the UK," Torop emphasized.
According to her, Zaluzhny has no intention of leaving his post at the beginning of January.
Media Information
Sources report that, according to information from Radio NV, Zaluzhny may leave his diplomatic post as early as the beginning of January. Allegedly, the diplomat discussed this decision with President Volodymyr Zelensky during his visit to Kyiv.
"They discussed various positions for Zaluzhny with the president - from prime minister to head of the presidential office, but he did not express interest at that moment," the publication's interlocutors reported.
We hope that this information about Zaluzhny's possible resignation will not come true, as his presence on the diplomatic front is important for maintaining Ukraine's ties with the UK. In the context of ongoing changes in the political environment, it is essential to have experienced and reliable representatives in key positions.
