Night Assault on Mykolaiv: June 12–13
According to Novyny.live: On the night of June 12–13, Russian forces launched an attack on Mykolaiv, causing civilian casualties and damaging a private residence. Explosions were heard around 11:10 PM local time. Two people sustained injuries: a 44-year-old woman and a 25-year-old man, both of whom were hospitalized.
During the same attack, a 10-year-old boy experienced severe stress and received on-site medical care. A private home was also damaged as a direct result of the assault.
Earlier Attack and Aftermath
Just the night before, on June 12, another assault on Mykolaiv had already injured three people. According to eyewitnesses, that earlier strike, involving Shahed drones, wounded two individuals—the same 44-year-old woman and 25-year-old man.
“They were hospitalized. A 10-year-old boy also had an acute stress reaction and received medical help on the spot,” one witness reported.
The consequences of the shelling on the night of June 12–13 continue to draw the attention of both local residents and authorities.
These incidents in Mykolaiv are part of an ongoing escalation of violence in the region driven by the armed conflict. In recent days alone, the number of attacks on civilian targets has increased, highlighting the tense situation and the threat to the civilian population.
